Jerome (Jeb) Schmitt, a Senior Manager with Gleason & Associates, joined the firm in 2003. Jeb has over 10 years of experience in business valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting and financial statement audit & analysis. As a Senior Consultant, Manager and Senior Manager at Gleason & Associates, Jeb has gained experience in all lines of business offered by the firm and served on a variety of engagements in the litigation, financial reorganization and valuation practice areas.

Jeb has significant management experience on litigation-related engagements involving intellectual property infringement, lost profits claims, and commercial construction claims. Jeb has also managed multiple fraud investigations and financial reorganization engagements. Additionally, Jeb has performed and managed a number of business valuations for closely held and publicly traded companies for a variety of purposes, including shareholder disputes, financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, and estate tax planning.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeb worked for several years as a financial statement auditor at international public accounting firms including Arthur Anderson, LLP and Grant Thornton, LLP.

Jeb is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania, Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
