Professional Background

Scott Hymes joined Gleason & Associates as a Staff I Consultant in January of 2009. Scott is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration majoring in Accounting with a minor in Economics. Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked as an Operations Manager with Blue Beacon International Inc.

As an Operations Manager at Blue Beacon International Inc., Scott aided in budget analysis and forecasting. Scott also oversaw the opening of three new facilities located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Mississippi. Scott's main responsibilities at these openings included new employee training and OSHA certification training of supervisors.

Since joining the firm, Scott has worked extensively on forensic accounting, valuations, and economic loss engagements. In addition, Scott has also worked with the H. K. Porter Asbestos Trust and C. E. Thurston Asbestos Trust aiding with general administration duties and claims processing reviews..
