Professional Background

Aaryn Hogue joined Gleason & Associates as a Staff II Consultant in October 2008. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology Pre-Law and her Associate of Arts in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a combined GPA of 4.0. She was a peer mentor/student advisor, an active member of the Criminology Association, Editor of the Criminology Department Newsletter, Alpha Phi Sigma (National Criminal Justice Honor Society), Dean's List and recognized as a Provost Scholar. Aaryn was also the recipient of several honors and awards including the Gregory W. Spinelli Memorial Award, Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, USAA National Collegiate Business Merit Award and the Hoyt Foundation Scholarship.

Aaryn completed her internship with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office where she worked alongside Assistant District Attorneys daily and performed extensive legal research. Aaryn's nearly four years in public accounting has provided her with valuable experience in compilation, review and audit engagements, financial statement preparation and analysis, corporate and personal tax planning and preparation, forecast/projection preparation as well as strategic planning. More importantly, this is where Aaryn discovered her passion for litigation support and forensic accounting. She will pursue certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2009.
