Professional Background
Danielle Hatch, a Staff II Consultant with Gleason
& Associates, joined the firm in February 2008. Danielle earned her
Master's of Science in Accountancy with a concentration in Forensic Accounting
from Duquesne University in May 2009. She previously earned a Bachelor's
of Science in Business Administration majoring in Accounting with a minor
in the Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh.
Through her graduate studies Danielle gained an in depth understanding
of fraudulent financial statements and the methods and techniques used
to prevent and detect fraud associated with financial statements.
While earning her undergraduate degree, Danielle completed two internships
critical to her career development. Danielle interned with the United
States Postal Inspection Service analyzing documents significant for the
pursuance of federal fraud charges. Additionally, Danielle interned for
a year with Bayer Corporation in their Internal Control System Department
where she documented internal controls for SOX 404 compliance and reviewed
management control test results for quality and compliance.
As a staff consultant at Gleason & Associates, Danielle has worked
extensively on forensic accounting, litigation, and economic loss engagements
including analyzing financial damages due to fraudulent activity, breach
of contract claims, lost profits, personal injury, wrongful death, and
medical malpractice.
