Professional Background

Brett Brennfleck, a Staff II Consultant at Gleason & Associates, joined the firm in 2010 after starting his career in Chicago, with Ernst & Young's Audit and Assurance Business Services practice. It is there that Brett gained valuable experience as an audit associate, serving SEC-registered and Fortune 500 corporations in the health care, manufacturing, and financial services industry. Brett's principal client while at Ernst & Young, Aon Corporation afforded him the opportunity to work with the world's largest reinsurance brokerage and to attest that three of their roll-up entities were in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 standards. Additionally, Brett has spent time in his career serving as a financial advisor for professionals at Ernst & Young, as well as for small to medium-sized business owners.

At Gleason, Brett specializes in economic losses associated with malpractice claims, as well as litigation support services associated with breach of contract and business interruption claims.

Brett's education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science degrees in accountancy from his beloved University of Notre Dame. Brett relocated to Pittsburgh, his hometown, just prior to starting with the firm.
