Background
Mark specializes in business valuation and litigation support engagements. Mark has developed valuations ranging from under $1 million to more than $179 million for a variety of purposes, including acquisition / sale, share issuance / redemption, stock option issuance, estate and gift tax, income tax, lost profit claims, divorce, shareholder dispute, and financial reporting. While the majority of Mark's experience involves manufacturing businesses, he also has valuation experience in a broad spectrum of industries, such as oil & gas, financial, trucking, telecommunications, management consulting, and promotional products distribution. He is a featured speaker for law firms and professional continuing education programs on a variety of valuation topics.
Previously, Mark was an international tax consultant for Price Waterhouse. He was also an auditor for the Big Four firm, auditing companies in numerous industries, ranging from a professional sports franchise to a transportation company.
Prior to joining Gleason & Associates, Mark worked for two small CPA firms, providing tax, accounting, valuation, and litigation support services to a diverse client base.
