Background
Doug King is a Senior Manager with Gleason & Associates, P.C. and
has over 20 years of experience in the areas of litigation support, accounting,
banking, risk management, financial analysis, forecasting, compliance,
business planning, and treasury management.
Doug's litigation experience includes analyses of financial damages involving
lost profits, patent infringement and misappropriation of trade secrets,
breach of contract claims, personal injury, wrongful death, employment
related matters, medical malpractice, professional malpractice and lender
liability.
Doug has testified in both Federal and State courts and his analyses have
been successfully used by counsel and clients in various formats including
mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
Prior to joining the firm, Doug was a vice president with PNC Financial
Services Group where he held various credit analysis, sales, and management
positions in PNC's Corporate Banking, Treasury Management and Finance
lines of businesses.
Prior to joining PNC, Doug spent 6 years in public accounting with Ernst
& Young, LLC and 2 years as a litigation support consultant with a
national accounting and consulting firm.
Doug's experience in performing complex financial modeling/analysis and
problem solving are effective in assisting in valuing intangible assets
under SFAS Nos. 141 and 142, and are helpful in business valuation and
lost profit matters, particularly in projecting future cash flows and
assessing risk.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania
State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited Business
Valuator, and a Certified Treasury Professional, a certification awarded
by the Association of Finance Professionals.
